A denture is a removable dental appliance
created to replace missing teeth. Dentures are an important part of keeping the
teeth and mouth in frame when one or more teeth are missing.
There are two types of dentures: complete and partial. Complete dentures are for patients who are missing all of their teeth, while partial dentures will only fill the spaces for missing teeth along an arch. When missing any teeth, partial dentures play an important role in preventing other teeth from shifting their position in the mouth.
Full Dentures
Full dentures are similar to partial dentures in that they are prosthetic teeth and gums used to replace missing teeth. The main difference between full and partial dentures is that full dentures are a total replacement system for either upper or lower teeth.

For many years, partial dentures have been used to
replace groups of teeth or a few teeth scattered across the lower or upper jaw.
There are a variety of removable partial dentures available to patients and
each one comes with its own set of benefits and disadvantages. All partial
dentures attach to remaining teeth and have a gum-colored portion meant
to blend into the existing gum, with prosthetic teeth to replace the missing
teeth.
For patients missing several teeth, but not all of
their teeth, a removable partial denture may be recommended. This type of
denture uses the remaining teeth to hold or anchor the removable bridge in
place. There are many different types and designs for removable partial
dentures. Typically, a removable partial denture is made of a metal framework
with pink plastic to replace the gum tissue and plastic or resin denture teeth.
BPS Denture is the acronym of Biofunctional Prosthetic
System. This category of dentures can help in a large way in contributing to
the oral requirements in daily life. These dentures can facilitate the wearing
of the prosthetic tooth continuously, all along the day. They are also
convenient and easy to use.
